You have to be passionate to work out. I mean, you can do it, without passion. You can go through the motions of your routine. You can lift your weights. You can let your muscles burn without passion. But really working out, it has to contain some fight, some power, some healing.
Now, when I work out, I scream with every pump. Every set makes me stronger. I concentrate on my muscles growing and getting larger. I focus on positive thoughts and yell the negative ones away. Cause with every good fight, there is going to be a bad one waiting to tear it down. Same with everything. And same with making yourself healthier. And you have to be prepared to roar and tear it back down before it gets to you.
You have to tell yourself throughout your whole workout and even when you aren't working out, that you can do it and you have passion and ambition for your work out.
--Its especially fun to come up with the things to say--
And figuring out your why. WHY WOULD YOU EVEN WORKOUT?! What do you get out of it? What is it that would cause you to put up a fight? What is it that would cause you to become fiercely passionate about something, something so unusual and simple as working out? What is the why of doing something you wouldn't normally do?
Weight lifting is my favorite workout when it comes to working out. One of my favorite quotes to go along with it is below. :D
